“ A short walk through the busy Nhà Chung street in central Hanoi, it was drizzling a bit, we were a group of 8, all in raincoats, and there we were, at Rue Lamblot. We were early, one of the earliest groups at the restaurant, got a good seating area on Level 1. Service was excellent with bowls of Pho Chicken and platters of various delicious chicken and sea food items arriving quickly. Well prepared, very tasty, the quantities were large, the group enjoying every item. As we had arrived in Vietnam in the afternoon, this was our first full meal in the country and did full justice to Vietnamese, especially Hanoi cuisine. We did have some unique requirements which the Rue Lamblot team helped us with, guiding us and explaning each item in detail. Soon there were several groups of guests, many being foreigners, walking in and enjoying the hospitality of this famous Hanoian restaurant. Special thanks to Rue Lamblot and its team for the wonderful experience. ”
“ We are having our lunch at Rue Lamblot Restaurant & Cafe when we are in Hanoi. The restaurant is on a bustling street. We have to get out of the tour bus very quickly and cross the street. However, the restaurant is very good looking inside with comfortable chairs. All the dishes are delicious. This is an enjoyable meal. ”
“ Not sure why there are some not so great reviews, we had a lovely, flavourful meal here today, soup, salad, chicken, beef, rice, veggies and fresh fruit for dessert. The service was fast and the food was tasty. Caters for westerners and tour groups, but we were very happy with our meal. ”
